a clean fridge!!

the other day i decided to clean our fridge...should have had a before photo because it was such a disasater! i found like 5 pounds of hamburger, 3 bags of the same mixed veggies....but it looks nice now..we'll see how long it stays this clean! lol.

Len's brother, dustin, is here for the summer! we are super excited to show him our state and to have him here..he wants to move here sometime--now if we got all his sibblings here over time maybe we'd get the whole family here eventually:p

last weekend len, dustin, my dad and i went to a big car show in the cities. i don't really care too much about cars, so i thought if there would be some pink cars or purple cars then i might enjoy it more..glad to find out there were plenty of cute cars! I did however still get bored, tired and hot after 3 hours. someone said there were craft buildings there for the ladies but following 3 guys around, i had no chance of seeing anything like that:p

then len and i took my dad and dustin to a really pretty garden nearby..of course they were goofy as usual. we got a good pic of us tho after a lot of me saying "serious now"...

Trip up north!

Last weekend we enjoyed a trip up north to Itaska!! My parents went along and we begged them to take us to Bamiji (sp?) which is a little bit farther north!! I figured out how to do this link so you can check out all the awesome photos (plus plenty more) that i downloaded. We got a new computer!! But i can't really figure out how to use it. I can't get my photos to download to my computer, it seemed it wanted them to download to snapfish. it was a pain saving them all to my computer one at a time! there has gotta be a better way!!!!

June happenings..

Len and I have been enjoying the sunshine hitting our patio in the evenings so much we sorta "decorated it" with a few flowers. One pot isn't in this picture, well its not a pot. I didn't have enough pots for the flowers we bought..so I put the rest in an aluminum loaf pan..lol. Actually, it looks pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of "Amilia Badila" if you've ever read those books. Maybe I'll plant some more flowers in some pots and pans...jk.





Jello Jigglers I spent 1/2 a day making for a potluck. Worth all the fun:) Thanks to Colleen coming over I would have gave up really quick!

May trip to CA

Len and I went on a quick trip to CA for Buttonwillow convention. It was SO hot several days of convention with very little to cool us off. We tented near the fence in the pic below. We had a little "tent city" of 2 tents (his brothers used the other one) and one canopy for shade! We heard so many good spiritual things there, as usual! They have changed a few things this year there..took out all the palm trees and some others because of diasese, and put up neat looking umbrella trees that look sorta like palm trees for shade..pretty cool! After convention we took Len's parents big van and headed for their house about 2 hours away. They didn't have air in the van...so it was quite the endurance test putting up with more heat going across the dry rugged dessert!! But then out of nowhere there is many mountains of green...and even a few sprinkles of rain! Plus it cooled down about 10 degrees! I almost caught myself saying it was "cold" lol!! We spent a night at his parents and had a wonderful breakfast in the morning, thanks to Mike. Then we went to Santa Barbara with Len parents and his grandma. We went to a couple stores, eat pizza by the ocean, and got a pic of our group (see below) taken by a US navy guy! Not thinking that we were by a LARGE body of water, I didn't think to put sunscreen on this day cause we were ONLY there for an hour or two.....got a sunburn...not too bad tho:) Even tho I had some sunscreen on at convention I didn't get a sunburn when it was in the 100's...guess the temp doesn't matter for sunburns!! It was sad to get on the airplane to head back to MN. We took a small plane to LA first! It was awesome because it flew near the coast nearly the whole time..so neat! I love CA:) :)
