I think Fudwick and Elbert will enjoy each others company.
I looked up stuff about Gnomes and they say you HAVE TO name them! lol. They can live up to 400 years, males usually wear the red caps, they are nocturnal, they like jokes and pulling pranks, and they kiss by rubbing noses. I found one website where you can change your name into a gnome name..kinda wierd!
