who doesn't? I HATE getting up on Mondays and going to work. I just wanna stay home and snuggle with my hubby!! I had friday off, so stayed home and cleaned house. Saturday we slept in then made egg benidict together for breakfast:) Then we went to the bank, Costco, and to the mall. We ran home quickly to change clothes and went to a Nutcracker Ballat which was just a few miles down the road! It was sooo neat to see them dance to the music and do everything on their toes--talk about foot work!! There was even little kids out there maybe as young as 3 skipping around--which might be the first thing they learn. however its an "elegant" skip with the toes pointing down. Ever seen kids imitate ballet dancing with one hand above their head? we got to see that done the real way! The professional dancers were the best.. coupling up and the man would take the lady and hold her on his shoulder and she'd bend over backwards and he'd spin her around on his toes and put her down ever so gently! I definetly would love to take my nieces to that sometime:)
Sunday we were invited for to stay for lunch after meeting..and we stayed and visited there till it was time to leave for afternoon meeting! After that we were invited to join a bunch of 'kids' our age for a congrats/going away..ect..party! One gal there that we know can now be a caption on commercial airlines! One girl is moving back west before shes going to Africa to be a nurse in an orhanage. So there was some really interesting conversations!
Tonight we went to Goodwill (shannon you should be reading this)! I found a kacki skirt for 6.99..best part is its Eddie Bouer (sp?)..which sells for 10x more or less on the rack! I'd have my husband take a picture of me wearing it (it fits perfect!) but hes off putting a new battery in his car, his quit today:(
